PSP Game Demos

The gaming world has enjoyed an unprecedented surge in popularity over the past ten years. Typically, the buzz over the latest consoles begin long before those consoles are released to the public. The Playstation system was no different. Due to high demand and record sales after its launch, Sony released the Portable Sony Playstation (known widely as the PSP) and began offering a huge variety of games for the handheld gaming system. Because these PSP games can be costly (especially if several games are purchased at once), Sony began offering demos of the games so people could get a taste for the game before buying.

What Do PSP Game Demos Offer?

Usually, the demo offers a small sample of the full-version game. Many PSP games will take you through several stages or levels of play. A demo of the PSP game often allows you to play one or two levels so you can get a feel for the game. You can watch the graphics and experienced the playability of the PSP game through the demo without having to invest blindly by buying the game upfront. Sometimes, the demo will omit a few of the options that are available in the full-version of the game.

Reasons Why You Should Use PSP Game Demos

Downloading and playing PSP game demos can save you time and money. If you play a game demo and decide that you don't like the game, you can save your money and not purchase the full version. Similarly, playing demos will allow you to focus on the games that you like, ignoring all others quickly. Otherwise, you may waste time by buying a game, deciding you don't like it and having to return to the store for a refund or exchange.

Where To Find PSP Demos To Download

There are several large websites that cater to PSP gaming fans. These websites allow you to download demos of most of the games that are available. Two of the most popular sites to download PSP game demos are monster-psp.com and the official Sony Playstation site at Playstation.com. You can also find PSP demos that you can download at websites such as PSPgn, PSPDemoCenter and GameSpot. Keep in mind that although downloading demos of PSP games is usually allowed by Sony, full-versions of the games should be purchased.

How To Download PSP Game Demos

Downloading PSP demos is simple. There are a few methods you can use. Many PSP gamers recommend downloading the games onto your desktop computer. That way, you can easily find the demos when you need them. Then, establish a connection between your PSP and your desktop computer using a USB cable. You will likely see something titled "removable drive." When you do, simply drag and place the folder on your desktop that contains the demo into the "games" folder on your PSP. Disconnect your PSP from your desktop. On your PSP, you should be able to easily find the game in the folder that you placed it.

Metroid Endings - Samus Aran in a Bathing Suit

For anyone who has ever played Super Metroid you probably received one of three endings after beating the game. The endings are earned by how long it takes you to complete the game. The first ending is Samus Aran in full armor giving you a thumbs up. You receive this ending if it takes you more than 10 hours to complete the game. This is the ending you will most likely receive if it's your first time beating the game.

The next ending is if you complete the game in between 3-10 hours. Samus Aran has another head piece under the helmet and another layer of armor. It is not as rewarding as the real ending but it's still a feat completing the game between 3-10 hours.

Now if you want to see the real ending with Samus Aran in a Bathing Suit you must beat the game in less than 3 hours. To get this ending you must know the ins and outs of this game and not do anything extra besides following the storyline.

Please note that all these endings are extremely cheesy because the Super Nintendo is only a 16-bit system. All metroid games have endings featuring Samus Aran in a bathing suit. The most popular ending of Samus Aran in a bathing suit that was featured in a early 90's edition of Nintendo Power was Super Metroid. They are all achieved by completing a time challenge of sorts.

The Original Metroid for Nintendo allows you to play a second quest as Samus Aran in a bathing suit if you beat the game fast enough. But the Original Metroid had passwords instead of save slots making it a challenge to do anything correctly.

This is why Super Metroid was the most note worthy Metroid game to feature Samus Aran in a bathing suit because it was also featured in Nintendo Power when the game was released. So good luck to anyone attempting this time challenge.
